December Field Trips!
December started off with several field trips for our students!
On December 3rd, second graders had the wonderful, cultural opportunity of attending the Nutcracker Ballet at the Ferguson Center. This trip always brings wide-eyed awe to the students and creates a lasting memory.
On December 4th, our fifth graders went to Yorktown Middle School to preview the musical options available to them in sixth grade. Watching the chorus and band really sparked some interest for several of them.
Also on December 4th, the first-grade students bundled up to go on a trip to the Jamestown Settlement. They toured the fort and the ships while they learned about how the Powhatan Indians and first settlers lived.
Next week, our fourth graders will be taking a trip to Colonial Williamsburg.
