Yorktown Elementary buzzed with excitement during its annual Science and Technology Night. Families explored a variety of hands-on activities that sparked curiosity and creativity. Children and families eagerly engaged in robotics, built innovative trash grabbers, crafted thrilling wall rollercoasters, and had a blast making whimsical apple people. Everyone was delighted to sample fresh cucumbers, watermelon, and green beans from the school garden - connecting food to science. The event was enriched by community partners like NASA, VIMS, the fire department, and HRSD, who showcased fun, interactive demonstrations and informative presentations. It was a night filled with learning, laughter, and a shared love for discovery!
