Wall of Honor

Wall of Honor - under construction!

Yorktown Elementary will display a “Wall of Honor” as a visual depiction of the school’s military student population. The space will display pictures of military-connected students’ family members who have served or are currently serving in the military. Please submit pictures that you would like to be displayed on the wall to your student’s homeroom teacher. Please include information such as who is in the picture, relationship to the student at Y.E.S., the branch of the military represented, and any other information you would like displayed. Photos will be returned when the bulletin board is taken down at the end of the year.

Additionally, I offer small groups for students throughout the year for parents who are deployed. If you are interested in placing your child in this group or you are interested in sending in information regarding a mom or dad in the military you can contact me at 757-890-5061 or e-mail me at dneubauer@ycsd.york.va.us and I will send you a form.
